Christchurch Woodturners Association Inc. is a registered charity (CC35765) and not-for-profit organisation founded in 1996 and based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We offer tuition and support to woodturners in the Canterbury region.
Here is the place to learn how to turn wood and how to improve your technique. You will also learn how to enhance your turned objects with texture, paints, carving and pyrography . At the same time you will be mixing with a great group of people, all with one aim—to turn wood!

The Christchurch Woodturners Association Inc. has a membership of 100+. Some of our members are professional woodturners. Others, although amateur, have years of experience. The majority of our members are just good keen woodturners who are trying to learn more and do the best they can.
